Construction Project Assistant

Site Preparation & Maintenance: Set up work zones, organize tools, protect surrounding areas, and clear/clean sites before and after tasks.
Basic Masonry & Structural Work: Cut stone/concrete, mix cement/mortar, and dig wall chases (chasing) for electrical and plumbing conduits.
Plumbing & Tiling Assistance: Assist in laying pipe conduits and assist with tile handling, transport, and placement.
Assembly & Installation: Assemble furniture, fixtures, and assist in general residential renovation activities.
Logistics & Safety: Safely handle tools and equipment, manage materials on site, and adhere to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in construction, masonry, or site renovation preferred.
- Familiarity with basic power tools (e.g., angle grinders, chasing machines, cement mixers).
- Strong physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or in a small team.
- Valid driver’s license (asset for tool/material transport).
- Working knowledge of English or Maltese.
