Install gypsum boards and plasterboards for walls, ceilings, and partitions.



Measure, mark, and cut gypsum boards according to project specifications.



Install metal or timber framing systems to support gypsum board structures.



Assemble suspended ceilings, bulkheads, and decorative ceiling designs.



Apply joint tape, jointing compounds, and fillers to achieve smooth finishes.



Sand and prepare surfaces for painting or other finishing work.



Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and measurements.



Install access panels, ceiling supports, and other related components.



Repair damaged plasterboard surfaces and correct installation defects.



Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, painters, and other construction workers.



Use hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely.



Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.



Follow health and safety regulations, including the correct use of personal protective equipment

Qualifications

Previous experience in gypsum installation or drywall partitioning.



Knowledge of plasterboard systems, metal framing, and suspended ceilings.



Ability to read technical drawings and take accurate measurements.



Skilled in cutting, fixing, jointing, filling, and finishing gypsum boards.



Good attention to detail and finishing quality.



Ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Physically fit and capable of handling construction materials.



Relevant vocational training or certification is an advantage.
