Responsible for Operational safety of the vessel and safety of the crew and all passengers on board. Other responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness of the boat and other duties assigned by the Operations Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Greet and assist members and guests with a professional, flexible, and accommodating attitude.
Directly supervise the skipper and Food and Beverage Personnel in all areas of the Marine Transportation safety, security, and training.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the boat.
Maintain professional composure in high stress environment.
Demonstrate safe and effective Vessel operation and crew management skills.
Demonstrate sound judgment on weather conditions, and with an awareness of the overall guest environment.
Routinely conduct Emergency drills in accordance with US Coast Guard and State of Texas regulations.
Routinely conduct and participate in safety meetings and setting expectations to ensure an efficient and safe operation of the vessel, including proper use of equipment during any possible on board emergency.
Ensure vessels are in safe operating condition and verify all safety equipment is in the proper location and functioning appropriately.
Notify Operations Manager of any repairs needed and coordinate repairs, as well as make sure to document.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Boat Master 1.
Nautical License
2 years recent Captain experience.
Basic computer skills, to include email.
