General Duties Clerk
GMF Precast Ltd.
As part of a small dedicated team, the prospective candidate will be expected to assist in the management all office activities on a daily basis namely:
Maintain a filing system, physical and electronic,
Manage paper/electronic post, incoming and outgoing,
Maintain a regular invoicing routine,
Manage the Sales Ledger and maintain credit control,
Manage the Purchases Ledger and the issue of supplier payments,
Liaison in the planning of the preventive maintenance schedules oh plant and machinery,
Manage the general upkeep of the offices,
Maintain personnel records and compute payroll,
Maintain basic stock control of loose tools, safety gear etc.
Qualifications
Prospective candidates should have an minimum MQF Level 4 standard of education. A good knowledge of MS Office, particularly, Word, Excel and Outlook is necessary. Qualifications in office management, basic accounting and payroll computation are preferable but not compulsory. Proficiency in the Maltese and English languages is a must and a good knowledge of spoken Italian would help.
Ideally the prospective candidate will have at least three years experience in a similar role and is able to work on their own initiative and willing to learn new job-related competences. The post requires a strong sense of organization and the ability to work seamlessly within a small team to achieve targets.
