Job Description

Fresh To Go Foods Limited (Greens Catering), a company forming part of the Greens Supermarket Group of Companies, is expanding further it's operation and looking for a Finance and Administration Executive. Greens Supermarket Limited is a family run business which has been operating in the supermarket industry for over 40 years. Greens is a leading supermarket brand in Malta and Gozo, providing it’s clients with an amazing shopping experience.

General duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for all the accounting transactions in the company's accounting system.
• Roster management and control, including updating payroll system with all the necessary data for payroll run.
• Leading, supervising and controlling other staff members to perform their tasks and responsibility.
• Assume responsibility for the proper filing and scanning of documentation as necessary.
• Processing of payments of local and foreign suppliers in a consistent and timely manner.
• Creation of periodic reports as may be required.
• Handing of other day-to-day needs.

The candidate will be reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Candidate credentials

• Must have a highly professional approach high integrity and moral standards,be trustworthy, well organised, a good team player, and capable of assuming responsibility for duties assigned to him / her and to meet set timeframes and deadlines.
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and possible experience in using ESHOP, Shireburn Financial Manager and payroll system.
• Should possess previous work experience in leading, supervising and controlling other staff members to carry on their duties in line with the company's objectives.
• As a minimum, an A' level certificate in accounting including MCAST qualifications. The company is also considering candidates with minimum 2 years experience in a similar role. In House training will also be provided.
