The selected candidate shall form part of a team that provides support to persons with disability being children to adults attending respite services.

The care worker shall help the service users to develop personal and independent skills. It is also expected that the care worker provides stimulating activities according to the needs presented.

The opportunities available will be based on a shift schedule which can include day and night shifts during the weekend and public holidays.

Qualifications

Eligible candidates must meet one of the criteria mentioned below:
A formal accredited qualification at MQF Level 3 in health and social care or related area
Or
A formal accredited qualification at MQF Level 2 preferably coupled with 2-year work experience in the social care sector.

Preference will be given to those who have a driving license.
