Technical Leader – Mechanical

Job Responsibilities:

+ Be responsible for the maintenance of the heating and cooling systems (HVAC);
+ Ensuring the smooth running of the general maintenance functions carried out by the maintenance team and minimum system downtimes, with quick response to faults;
+ Coordinating and executing the planning and monitoring of preventative maintenance programs within established time frames; assisting in procurement and sourcing of materials, equipment, tools and services;
+ Coordinating and implementing the stock control of tools, equipment and material used for the maintenance function;
+ Ensuring that the stock levels of consumable items are maintained;
+ Liaising and negotiating with local and foreign suppliers to source equipment and parts;
+ Ensuring that all tools and equipment at the workshop are services regularly and maintained within the safety standards;
+ Supporting the coordination of all relevant parties within the company and external parties to ensure the planned projects are implemented;
+ Participating in evaluation reports following the setting up of projects;
+ Preparing a weekly report on the works carried out and ensure that all works are documented according to ISO 9001 standards.

Requirements:

+ MQF Level 5 Qualification in a related subject;
+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory position and/or in a manufacturing company;
+ Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills;
+ Well organized and highly motivated;
+ Effective leading skills.
