Finance & Payments Manager

OGaming is looking for a Finance and Payments Manager to join the rapidly growing team here in our Malta office!

Responsibilities include:
• Management of daily, weekly and monthly cash and player account reconciliations;

• Providing leadership and guidance to the Finance department of the business;

• Ensuring that the processing, updating and reconciliation of all invoices, income and expenditure across a group of companies is completed, monitoring and updated in a timely manner;

• Management of all payroll, VAT, bookkeeping and accountancy matters;

• Day-to-day relationship management with third party professional service providers and banking institutions;

• Liaising with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained, in addition to readying reports and settlements for third parties, such as regulators where the applicable Tax and associated reports are due;

• Assisting the C-Level with building forecasts and budgets and ensuring individual departments adhere to allocated budgets;

• Responsibility for defining the payment strategy and payment processes across our brands and business;

• Working with a range of departments (for example; Customer Service, Marketing and Compliance) to ensure player deposits and withdrawals and all KYC checks are satisfied in accordance with company and regulatory policy.

• Develop an understanding individually and build this internally of all functionalities of existing and new payment method solutions, including debit/ credit card, e-wallet, bank transfer solutions, APMs and payment costs across multiple geographical locations and continents

• Ensuring that the financial and payments development plan is directed to reach both tactical and strategic objectives.

• Maintain analysis of product performance trends and take mitigating and appropriate action where required.

• Maintain and develop a stable payment and financial infrastructure; identifying and implementing both a technical and non-technical initiatives and features.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline, such as Accounting, Finance or Economics, combined with a minimum of four years of job-related experience.

• Understanding of financial trends and willingness to build upon this knowledge.

• Proficient user of financial and accountancy software.

• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

• Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.

• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.

• High-level Microsoft Excel skills and exceptional attention to detail.

• Knowledge of financial regulations locally and internationally.

• You will need to be fluent in English (written and oral) to perform this role.

• Professional accounting qualification and/ or experience in the payments industry would be advantageous.

• A working knowledge of the iGaming industry would be advantageous but not a requirement.
