Project Officer

Leadership Consultancy & Training services

The Project officer will be responsible for:

- Develop and manage budget for each project working with program manager, meeting manager and meeting planner.
- Administrate and keep contact continuously with clients.
- Follow-up all the office administration related to the projects.
- Maintain project calendar and milestones.
- Preparation, follow up, monitoring, invoicing review and reporting of the relevant projects, including evaluation of reports and overall/ annual work plans.
- Monitoring of ongoing projects, including field visits, on the spot evaluation and control of payments and contracts performance.
- Follow execution of projects and conduct all the administration related to such projects
- Assist in leadership to adapt analytical approach to establish resource need and thoroughly examine alternative execution choices.
- Identify trends and shifts in execution patterns to inform changes or adjustments to model itself.
- Provide input for development of new resource planning tool and resourcing process.
- Interact with original developers to develop detailed technical understanding of conceptual structure and algorithm of tool.
- Establish and record policies and procedures for maintaining and using tool and process, ensuring data integrity and consistent use across foundation.
- Establish user’s feedback channels to allow for continual refinement of tool and process.
- Manage, supervise and control multiple project through project life cycle.

Core skills:
Thorough familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and project scheduling computer applications
Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently,
Ability to plan and meet deadlines
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, trouble-shoot, and to meet short- and long-term deadlines
Demonstrated experience in budget and financial management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent critical and creative thinking and analytical skills
Excellent in multitasking


Experience would be considered as asset

Qualifications

Good English & Maltese (Matsec Level standard is an asset)
Experience in Administration and Project Management is an asset
Customer Care Skills
Good Communication Skills

Flexible
