Shop Attendant

This person is responsible for assisting supervisors during shifts, ensuring great service and customer satisfaction by following the standard procedures and direction given by the shop supervisor.
OPERATIONAL
• Assisting the supervisor in organisation of work whilst maintaining great service and upkeep of the shop.
• To receive all the incoming stock and register all stock returns as per company procedures, and maintain a good retrieval system of such stock keeping, rotating stock, labelling, pricing and other SOPs that might be introduced as per company’s directive.
• Ensure systematic storage of products (i.e. first in fist out administration) including checks of expiry dates.
• Maintain a welcoming and attractive environment within the outlet which must include a high level of cleanliness.
• Personal appearance and hygiene should be of the highest level and this with the use of proper attire as provided by the company.
• Ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality and district scheduling of dispatching.
• Co-ordinates with other departments to ensure timely smooth running of production and deliveries.
• Adhere to the levels of work safety and correct hygiene practices as per company regulations.
• To take client orders as per company’s procedure using relevant forms.
Qualifications
Training will be provided.
