Administration & Accounts Clerk

A well established distributor within the food & beverage industry is seeking to employ an Administration & Accounts Clerk to assist with all administrative functions and junior accounts duties.

Main responsibilities include supporting the front office administration, answering calls and welcoming clients, overseeing the administrative requirements of the office, and assisting other departments when required.

Applicants must have good communication skills with fluency in both Maltese and English, and be friendly, reliable and flexible with their work approach. An understanding and basic knowledge of Accounts is also required.

This position is offered on a Full Time basis, and provides an excellent opportunity to develop your Accounts skills and take on more responsibilities.

Qualifications

> At least one year experience in an Administrative role with some Accounts exposure
> Familiarity with basic daily book-keeping procedures, postings and reconciliations
> Attention to detail and thorough
> Hard working ethic and highly organised
> Friendly and a team player
> Fluent in Maltese and English with good communication skills
> IT proficient with a solid working knowledge of MS office, especially with MS Excel

Applicants should ideally possess a minimum O'level in Accounts or similar qualification, and at least one year of basic administration/accounts experience. Knowledge of SAGE software would be highly advantageous.
