Junior Production Technician

The Technician will be involved in:
• Maintenance; including fault-finding, diagnosis and repair of production and plant equipment.
• Upgrade and development of our manufacturing equipment and processes under the guidance of department engineer.
• Documentation / record keeping
• Preventive and breakdown maintenance program development and upkeep
• Following 5S and TPM principles within the organisation

Qualifications

• A minimum level 5 MCAST-BTEC Higher National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Wireman’s Licences ‘A’ & ‘B’
• Experience on PLC driven equipment of pneumatic and hydraulic systems will be considered an asset.
• Have a practical, hands on approach and be pro-active in problem solving and process improvement
• Have own initiative, taking ownership of the job and work without supervision
