Product Test Engineer

• Optimization of yield, quality, test program, and product hardware through detailed analysis and application of technical knowledge and interpretation of results. These KPIs are followed weekly and on monthly basis with analysis and actions defined for gaps identified.
• Monitoring the overall performance of the product, interfacing with the process responsible and associated colleagues for each step of the production flow.
• New product Introduction (Test Product transfers) following the Test Gap analysis methodology for successful start-ups of new products in co-ordination with other actors; division, maintenance, process, and production.
• New product qualification testing and result compilation with focus on deviation from expected targets in quality, stability and first pass/final yield achieved.
• Identifying and solving arising technical problems.
• Test program debugging and transfer to production through PCMS qualification.
• Test Cell stability and evolution for industry 4.0 preparation.
• Working with Divisions, Assembly, Planning Quality, Equipment Suppliers through analysis and feedback, early warning, and regular reporting.
• Customer audits support to meet automotive standards.
• Developing solutions and deployment of the future inside pillar projects to the Test & Finishing Area.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 6 Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Field or related subject
• Knowledge of Industrial Electrical and Electronics applications in general.
• Be ready to learn and grow technical skills on new equipment.
• Good coaching skills.
• Being able to work as part of a team with little supervision
