Special wastes handling operative

Green Skip Services the leader in waste management sales and services requires personnel to work on a site in the south of Malta from Monday to Friday day shifts times vary between 6.30am to 17.00 on full time bases and on site in Maghtab from 7:30-16:00

Main duties will include:

•Operation of baling, granulating and shredding machines.
• Driving of fork-lift (applicable to those who are trained).
• Waste sorting and any general labor work if required.
•Completing accurate information as required
• Candidates must demonstrate and follow good working practices in all the above to ensure safe working procedures for themselves and others.
Candidates applying must be willing to attend training for this position.

Qualifications

Candidates can read and write in English and follow instructions.
Has a basic understanding of emails and excel programs ( training will be provided)
Candidates in possession of lifter License will be an asset, however training will be provided to the selected candidates.
Can work with minimal supervision and have a can do attitude.
Must be able to adapt to change and handle daily tasks as they arise.
Enjoys working in and out doors, this job requires individuals who enjoy working hands on and forming part of a team.
Ready to complete required reports accurately.
