Short Description: Responsible for researching and assisting with the development of the company’s Biomedical sensor. (Gross salary €24000 per annum)

Chemical Research within Design and Development • Assisting Senior Biomedical Engineer in carrying out and recording of chemical, scientific and clinical research on the company’s biomedical nanomaterial sensors for continuous improvement and post-market clinical evaluation and on new sensors for proof of concept, determining design inputs and analysing related articles • Assisting with identifying industry specific harmonized standards related to Umana’s products at the early design stages and ensuring that their requirements are met, and that testing is done accordingly both internally and at external laboratories • Implementing assigned Verification and Validation methodologies through testing protocols, carrying out or coordinating the required tests and create results reports for products at different stages of its research, development and post-marketing data monitoring • Collaborating with QA and RA Management, Technical Manager and RND associates to ensure proper necessary technical records to meet regulatory requirements in different markets are generated and maintained • Collaborating with RND hardware and software associates and Technical Manager to ensure DND procedures, regulatory and records requirements are followed and implemented for assigned products and assisting with other product projects by applying personal knowledge and expertise through training and participation • Collecting and analyse data of device performance, usability and accuracy • Collaborating with Senior Biomedical Engineer and Technical Manager to transfer prototype design of biomedical nanomaterial sensors to production.

Qualifications

- Masters Degree (or equivalent) or higher in this specialisation.
- 12 months experience working in this field
