Accounts and Office Clerk

We are looking for an individual to work as an office/accounts clerk, performing a variety of office, accounting, and bookkeeping tasks. Office is located in St Julian's and the successful individual is expected to work normal office hours.
Some responsibilities include:
- Preparing reports and reconciling bank statements
- Day-to-day accounting entries
- Reconciling sales
- Take phone calls
- Provide assistance to other company employees
- Keep the office up to standard
- Filing of invoices, statements, and any other documentation
- Keep updated with the current affairs and news
- Engage employees with all relevant documentation (experience is preferred but training and insights will be provided)
- Preparing wages and salaries
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.

Qualifications
O or A Level Education in Accounting or relevant experience working in accounts
Good Speaking and Written English
Experience in an office environment
The successful employee should be familiar with common accounting procedures and ideally have experience in a similar post. However, training will be provided.
The company uses Shireburn Accounting software to process its entries. Knowledge of this accounting software will be considered an asset.
