This is not an ordinary PVC inflatable kayak. The Helios 2 is made from Nitrilon, Gumotex’s highly durable material, designed to resist abrasion, UV exposure and high temperatures.

This is especially important in Malta, where intense sunlight and summer heat can quickly put even expensive PVC inflatable kayaks under considerable stress.

Thanks to its long, streamlined shape, it offers excellent tracking, good cruising speed and stable performance, even on longer excursions.

It is also equipped with a foot-controlled rudder, which is extremely useful for maintaining course, compensating for wind and making navigation more precise, responsive and less tiring.
