Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber, bought new in 2020 from the local agent. It is in very good condition and has an 850cc transverse 90° V twin engine, having 55bhp and 62nm of torque, and has ABS and traction control. The power delivery is quite immediate from low down the rev range, giving its all at about 6000rpm, which is enough both for the maltese roads and also abroad. It is confident riding slow as well as fast, and has an agricultural, raw feel to it.

I like to describe it as having a motorcycle that compared to others, "feels alive" both at standstill and in motion, from the audible manual gear changes to the bike moving very slightly to the right at standstill when rolling the throttle, due to torque effect. This doesn't affect handling though. It is both a pleasure and therapeutic to ride. Handling it is very easy due to a low centre of gravity. It is very reliable, air cooled, shaft-driven, and was never dropped or involved in an accident. It was always serviced at the agent (Demajo).

The motorcycle is completely stock, with the accessories added (bar-end mirrors, engine protectors) all bought from factory. It is currently a single seater, but can be reverted back to a two seater very easily. Factory passenger seat and pegs will be provided, as will the standard mirrors and manual (all included in the price).

Used once weekly primarily as a Sunday bike, and the majority of its outings were in good weather. Fuel economy varies from 155km to 170km per €10, depending on how you drive it. It has no fuel gauge on the 15ltr tank, but it has a 4ltr reserve from when the fuel light goes on, meaning approx. additional 40km to 60km range from when the light goes on. Mileage is 9800km and counting. Reason for selling is that while I am still enjoying this bike, changes in life priorities force sale.
