Amazing Fender Deluxe American Standard from 1989!!

In 1989, Fender introduced the Deluxe American Standard Strat, and discontinued them in 1990. This guitar was only produced for around six months, and it is estimated that only around 400 instruments were ever produced making this one we have for sale a rather rare guitar indeed.

In typical Strat fashion, the guitar consists of a nicely contoured alder body with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. 100% original condition with very few signs of play wear. This Strat features a beautifully yellowed tortoise pickguard loaded with 3 x Gold Lace sensors pickups. These mics are great, recreating an early/vintage single coil tone that makes the Strat one of the most recognizable-sounding guitar tones.
